here's the long awaited update x3

this was my second best birthday evarrrr!!!! thanks to ALL the people who were in it <33

morning

I met up Joseph for breakfast (he asked to). He treated me to it xD Because apparently, according to him,
birthday + valentine's + lady = privelages
LOL
So we had mac's at the Science Centre. Why there? Because he wanted to get something that's only sold at the souvenir shop, make a V day's prezzie out of it and give it to some girl later in the evening. LOL.
HE MADE ME WAIT FOR LIKE 45 MINUTES. I told myself, "I'm going to fucking murder him." I almost thought he wasn't coming! But he did turn up in the end.
Said he couldn't hear his two alarms and thus overslept -_-
Well I forgave it because he's already in the NS. And sleep is important for guys at this point of time. So as long as he got enough sleep, I was fine with him being late.
Then we talked crap about random stuff.
It was great meeting him. And I shall leave the past where it belongs.

afternoon

After meeting Joseph, I went to work. The people at my workplace wished me happy birthday xD

3 plus liddat, JODY AND MAYBO CAME!!!!
With cake and prezzies!!!
So touched la. Seriously.
Because no one's ever surprised me like that before lol.
And it's only the second time any of my friends bought a whole cake for me just on my birthday.
But too bad, had to wait until after my shift ended at 4.30pm haha.
So when I ended work, I suggested we went outside to light the candles instead because might disturb the other customers inside lol.
they sang a birthday song for me tooooo <333
then of course there's the usual wish-making and candle-blowing and giving-out-the-cakes part. I gave one piece too everyone at my workplace, jo and maybo too.
After that I had to rush home to shower and change and prepare to meet Daphne ad PS to watch Underworld.

evening

Met Daphne, and she surprised me by saying "I managed to get Clar to come with us too (: "
There's a lot of backstory to this but I'm not going to mention it here.
Anyway we watched the movie, had a good time walking around SMU area after that.
Then XIN YING SURPRISED ME BY BEING THERE LIGHTING A CAKE!!!!!
I was like *walk-walk never notice*
Then *walk back---"MEI! WHAT ARE U DOING HERE?!?!?!"
I was SO SO SO SO SO surprised, serious. And touched, again haha.
Apparently they ALL planned this out -.-
The day before, Daphne had told me "Xin Ying and Claris will celebrate your birthday around next week."
So imagine my shock lol.
We ate the cake on the spot, without cutting. Luckily Daphne had brought some...utensils to eat the cake with haha. Then we also played with those mini fireworks thing.
It was my first time (after YEARS) playing with those things again. Once I kena the sparks, pain, so I never dared to play around with them again. But this time just heck la, but still kena the sparks LOL.
Oh and today was also the first time I lighted a candle using a lighter, on my own.
LOL.
I'm scared of fire la so ya...Haha.

I was really happy and surprised~~~
